This year the Shri Laxminarayan Temple celebrates its 150 years of existence in the complex of Madhavbaug. The 150-year-old temple is very popular among Hindu Devotees. It is believed that it is here that all wishes and desires of one are fulfilled.

The Pujari of the Temple affirms and believes that if a person is going through a rough patch, and visits the temple regularly for darshan, then within within a very short period one would be freed of all one’s troubles. The pujan of the idol is done in the same style as in Shreenathji Temple situated in Nathdawara near Udaipur in Rajasthan.
